Atom Bomb

I want to be the meanest

cell in the bank

just waiting to explode-

there’s an atom bomb

but I fail to feel

like the virus to this

community of cells

and I want to act 

like the toughest microbe

the whole system’s ever seen.

But i lack the edge of connecting

cords-

There’s no nucleus to

my spontaneous chemical attraction-

there’s a spinal wedge between

electrons and my dissatisfactions.

But I can’t seen to shake off

wanting to stem a positive reaction. 

I hit a tick

-a nerve

I’m the atom bomb...

with no ignition strand.
